    Hi,
I'm new to the forum (as a poster), but have been using it for information for some time. I am currently looking at an Omega for sale on a Danish sales-site, however, the information available on the watch is somewhat limited. I will be meeting the seller in person to look it over, but would very much like some input/information beforehand.

What is listed: It should be a 35mm, 283 kal 1953 watch, but looking at the Omega vintage database does not really help me much. The watch have been services in Switzerland back in 2017 (I expect to see documentation on this).

    /jacob

    Edit: Added pictures

    Hi Jacob,
It’s better if you post photos rather than a link. Easier all round.
You should also try and post photos of the movement.

Sorry - I have edited the first post to include pictures directly. Unfortunately I do not have pictures of the movement yet - seller said he had difficulties opening the back, any input for this (I know I need to see the movement, and markings on the case before i buy).

The dial has been repainted. There is black paint all over the hour markers.

Thanks for your input! Any thing else to be worried about?

I'm not so sure about the hands..replacements? ...But Omega did have a lot of variations. Certainly a terrible paint job. A pic of the movement and inside of the casebook would be nice

You are probably right on that, I will be looking elsewhere...
