Hi guys! Found a few interesting pieces below. Any opinions on them? Do they seem like good buys and are they originals? Good running condition. Owner does not know much about it as it inherited. Looks ok? What movement would this one have; do you know? http://www.tradera.com/omega-seamaster-de-ville-automatic-auktion_190118_200429447 Quite like this one. A 600 with cal 601 ref number 135.011. What makes me wonder with this one is the red cross hair. Is that really an original dial on this model? http://www.tradera.com/underbar-vin...herrklocka-fran-1964-auktion_190118_200542089 Input appreciated!
I'd guess the first one should have a cal. 565, which is a very, very nice movement, but experts should chime in soon.
Haha... not sure if that was a hint that I should read a lot before asking queations ulackfocus You made me want to see the film again though
No 1: personally, if I were to buy a Deville, I would choose one with a perfect dial, and that one hasn't No 2: the only thing cool with that (worn) watch is the dial, and come on, a 1000$??? Just my 50c
Thanks! You mean the small "dots" on there? Hmmm... thought they could be dust as well... but you might be right. Just for my learning; what parts of the watch would you say is worn? And yes... price... way too expensive... I know. Thought about giving him an offer later on since it is unlikely that he will sell at that price.
No2: case and movement shows signs of extensive wear. I doubt that that watch was born with that dial. Feels more like that the cool dial was put there to motivate an high asking. I can be wrong about that of course, but to me the excellent cool dial doesn't go with that case and movement
Ok... then at least we are two having that feeling. I think I will pass anyway then, independent on price. I have seen one or two with a similar dial on that ref, but all others look different.
