Inner caseback jeweler's mark ?

    Has anyone seen this X1 jeweler's pen mark on a inner caseback of a 1974 speedmaster? I am wondering what this pen mark could signify...

    All the watches I've sent to Omega for service have come back with numbers inside the caseback written with a green felt-tip pen like that. The numbers are much longer though, so perhaps this is the 11th watch serviced by Omega.........
