Could anyone shed some light on my inherited Omega? I've had a good look at it and can't see any identification apart from the strap. The strap is stamped with 1039 with 630 ends connecting to the watch body. I've been told that it's from the late 1960's but that's all. Can anyone give me a bit more information and a possibility ball park figure on the value for insurance purposes.

Lack of pictures typically results in lack of meaningful responses.

AH HA! Now I get it! You were referring to the watch in the image that you included in your earlier thread, here:

Best way to handle the MB for the purpose of simplicity is to ALWAYS return to your original thread, and hit the REPLY button. Otherwise, those you expect help from have to chase all, over the MB to run down separate pertinent threads.

Sorry, looks like I duplicated my thread. There should be an identical one with picture's.

Your original thread is still there. For anyone who wishes to refer back to it, I have posted the link to the original thread in my post (above). I suggest it might be more meaningful and helpful for you if you no longer posted in this duplicate thread. As I suggested, return to your original thread where the pictures are, use the REPLY button, and ask away. Here is the link again.

There were a number of helpful replies in your original thread. If the answers you seek have not yet appeared in that thread, return to it, use the REPLY button, and ask again.
