Inherited vintage Omega - help please?

A L Dennison. An American who set up in Birmingham UK and manufactured watch cases of a very high quality for Rolex, Omega, Smiths and many others for decades up until the late 1960s. He was also insturmental in Waltham's US success I believe.
Thank you very much! Never imagined Dennison was created by an American !

Dont be disheartened that its only 9ct. I’d prefer a watch to have a 9ct than 18ct case as the metal would be much softer for 18ct. Over time id image your average springbars would eat into it (unless they make solid gold springbars?)

Not disheartened at all - this is all a learning curve for me. As the watch is inherited and I knew nothing about it before visiting this forum I’m just enjoying learning about it all.
