Welcome Rick... you've got an absolute ripper of a Speedy there sir, congrats. More pictures please !!! From that one picture, everyone had the same initial reaction that the dial and hands look like a stunner, but I'd add that the case also looks amazing from what we can see. Where are you located ? If you don't mind shipping the watch off, there are several amazing watchmakers that are on this forum and do amazing things with vintage Speedmasters, two that come to mind that I've used personally are Al at Archer Watches, and Adam at Lewis Watch Co (google and you will find both). Great watchmakers tend to be busy. Every dollar you put into this watch, if done wisely will be well spent. I'd go for a full service, a vintage replacement dot over ninety bezel (yes it will set you back many thousands of dollars but you will have a correct result and should you ever decide to sell in the future you'd get ever dollar back and more), but as someone else mentioned, there are many fake bezels out there now, so be careful.

Again, congratulations.

You will have a number of options. Depends on where you are at.
I am in central USA. Oklahoma, but can ship.

I guess I have some education needed. I assumed a dot over 90 was an indication of a fake bezel. I see some bezels in the original Omega packaging for sale.

If you want to make your watch period-correct, you want a 1960s era dot-over-90 (DON) bezel. A good one will be several thousand USD. You can install an authentic service bezel if you like, and that would probably cost about $150 brand new. It's up to you.

Your watchmaker will be able to buy a replacement bezel direct from Omega at a fair price. There is no need to search for one yourself, unless you would like to replace it with one made in the same time as the watch, i.e., a DON.

My comments on a service bezel is not to dissuade you from sourcing an original DON bezel for your watch. Rather a service bezel will allow you to wear the watch after you shell out the cost of service, and then later add the correct bezel if/when you decide to make that investment. Agreed with the fact that it will be money well spent to make the watch whole again, but many collectors forget that although we may have no issues paying $3k to get a watch like this back to 100%, the sticker shock may be more than most mortals can stomach- so I like to propose options to the newly watch-world initiated. No shame in a service bezel and they are currently available from Omega as a replacement for these watches.

Mine wearing a service bezel (have my beaten DNN on storage).
