Omega has a bezel available for this case, however it is pink gold plated. I suspect the plating could be removed, so that might be an option...

That would be a great option if the plating is on SS.

That could be an option. Would I need to order from omega direct? Any ideas on cost/part number/ref number?

You cannot order it - you would have to send the watch to an Omega certified watchmaker, or to Omega themselves. The latter is not recommended.

Is this something you could do?
Are we sure omega uses SS and not Brass beneath it's good plating?

You're better off having a manufacturing jeweler or small tool and die shop make you a new bezel.

How easy is it to find someone to make you a new bezel. Never come across that before.

Start your web searching with jewelers.

Why would this be better? In my experience, it's almost always better to buy something that is manufactured at scale. Paying for a prototype is generally not cost-effective. Also, the Omega part will be exactly the right shape. The question is whether the underlying metal is SS, and there is also the issue of finding someone with an Omega account who will order it. Removing the plating will be trivial.

I might be wrong but I believe it will be solid gold.

I see. I was basing my comments on @Archer's post that it was pink gold plated.

It all comes down to what they're charging for it. Has anyone said as of yet?
