I just purchased it for 550$ on eBay. Did research after my purchase and can’t seem to find this dial anywhere. Did I get ripped off?

Note: Although the Omega Vintage Database seems to indicate that it's a press in caseback, do not attempt to remove the caseback.

The movement and dial are removed from the front of the watch after using Tool 104 to remove the crystal.

This is Tool 104.

I checked the reference number in a Google search and all the case backs are blank. They don't have that DeVille design engraved on the back

Also. Dials are simple in design. Stick indexes or Roman numerals and stick hands

These are what I found based off the reference number

You could have a watchmaker open it up and check to make sure all the information on the inside is correct, but if anything gets damaged. The seller could refuse to take it back.

The backside is what bothers me as it doesn't match the reference number

Later version? Couldn't find anything

If someone knows better. Feel free to correct me

I think the seller has simply used the wrong case reference, probably saw a dial that was close and thought "that's it".

Compared to many 111.077 images on the web, there are a number of differences between the OP example and the others.

Only the use of Tool 104 will reveal the mystery 😉

That matches. No inside back info. Curious on the ref. #

Google search on 70's De Ville models turns up a number of them, but guess no one opened them up as none listed the reference number.

I think it was a plain dialed model that may have been refinished and hands replaced
