Hi! This is my watch, se images. I would really appreciate some information regarding it if anyone can help. What I know now is basically that it’s made out of 18 K gold-plated steel and that it is a 258 caliber with 17 jewels. I've tried googling 14926 but I can’t find anything so any additional information would be of great value to me. Also information about the 258 caliber would be interesting. Thanks in advance!
Hi Sara, Let's start with that your watch a 285 caliber not 258. I can see where you might make that mistake
The serial number of the movement dates your watch to the early 1960s. As you already noted, the case is gold plated. A few other things that stand out are the replacement crown and that it is a redial. Hope this helps.
I found another one. Same information inside the case back as above: http://www.microsofttranslator.com/BV.aspx?ref=IE8Activity&a=http://www.antiwatchman.com/O-5904 Here is information on Omega cal. 285: http://www.ranfft.de/cgi-bin/bidfun-db.cgi?10&ranfft&1&2uswk&Omega_285 Hope this helps, gatorcpa
Yes of course 285. I've been googling numbers for so long that they all get mixed up. Thanks so much for the info though!
