Morning everyone, new user here. Hoping someone can help me with as much information as possible about two watches that were left to my by my papa. One is a seamaster cosmic automatic and the other a geneve automatic. I don't think the bracelet on the seamaster is original. Think possibly both purchased in 60's maybe 70's. Not really interested in prices as both hold alot of sentimental value, I will alwas keep them. Any help/info would be much appreciated.

Derek The Seamaster is the nicer watch. It looks 100% and the movement is the well-regarded calibre 565. It's probably from about 1970. The bracelet looks ok to me and the dial looks original. It'd be well worth having it serviced. The Geneve is also ok but it's a less sought-after brand, it looks like a later model with that back (can't be certain) and so might have either a 565 or the later 1012 movement. The crown (= winder) has been replaced with a Tissot crown. E.
Thanks for that Edward. The seamaster used to work perfectly, unfortunately my dad had it serviced in Glasgow somewhere and after that one of the hands is slightly bent so it stops as soon as the second hand meets with it. I will look into a reputable place to have it repaired. Its a lovley watch and means alot to me. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
