    Hi Everybody,

I have a question about a vintage seamaster cal 503 with textured dial. How can we named a dial with 'vertical lines' where every line is guilloched ? I have never seen a dial like this so if someone has some information it Will be very nice !

Yea those seemed to be more common among Norman Morris cased US domestic market cases, they had a lot of ribbon dials, pinstripe dials and all sorts of things like that.

This looks similar to the Geneva stripe finish. I've seen quite a few of them on Seamasters all over the world, US, Europe and Asia and only once on a Constellation.

I have seen a few of them with the vertical stripes like this but what really caught my eye was a Seamaster with lines like this emanating from the 6 o'clock position and fanning out.
