    Gents,
Does anyone have some info on my Seamaster? I am particularly wondering how old it is. Thanks!

Without the reference number all we can say is it looks like a seamaster! Take the back off if you can and take a photo of the caseback and movement.

    Don't do that. It's a front loader.

    From 1964 or thereabout

My completely out there guess. I want to say 1961 only because of the coat hanger S, but looking at 1961 Seamaster I cant find any that have same dial and hands as the one above. If it is a redial, flush what I said right down the toilet.

I have a Seamaster with the same font from 1960. Also a front loader. OPs watch is consistent with why I would expect to see. Just not nearly knowledgeable to say what reference it is.

Thanks guys. Best guess so far is early sixties. I would have checked the Nrs if I was able to open it but since it is a front loader I'm not able to. Crosshairs and overall print quality are too good for a redial in my view.

Looks like a deville model (it's not , but it looks like it). :)
The back and the front but different dail ofc.. Or someone could have changed the dails?
    I would guess that it's a cal. 601

Beautiful, genuine dial with a cross hair you could cut your thumb off with. Hands and dial furniture in great condition. Dial dates watch to the early 60s. The first De Ville style case came out in 1960 and as Cvrle suggests, the double coat-hanger S dates it somewhere around 1960-61

thats the advantage of the frontloader ... not too many people brave enough to mess with them and screw them up
