Hi guys! So I have this mens automatic DeVille ref. 156.0001 with blueish/blackish dial. Size 44mmx26mm. Which I can't find from Omega Vintage Database, can't find anything from Google either. Mint condition, almost never used, original leather strap and buckle. Anyone got more info about it? Is it rare, and do people collect these things? What I've heard is that these rectangle DeVilles wouldn't be so valuable/desirable. Regards -J
No one has any info about the watch? My phone camera's lightning is a bit weird I see, case is stainless steel if someone's wondering Thanks in advance -J
really looked kind of bronze on your pictures.. maybe one without flash light? can't understand why those watches wouldn't be as much desired as some rounded cases.. it's more special, extravagant though. Good luck with it =)
I went through the omega bible for you - which is where I'm guessing you got 1973 and the reference. In case that came from somewhere else, its a cal 681 (although this may be a typo and it could be 684) and there was a non date cal 625 sister watch (similar, not identical), ref 111.0113, which there is a hit on in the OVD. Theres a NOS one for $380 here: http://www.joseph-watches.com/seiten_gross_engl./seiten_gross_e_0300/s_0300091.htm so i think your supposition of low value is probably correct.
