Hi all, this was my late father-in-laws watch and he just loved it. I looked up the case number on the omega data base and it came up with KL instead of KM.
Does anyone have any info on this watch?
    Thanks
    Russ

There is a huge amount of incorrect and missing information in the Omega database.

Your watch looks correct and original including that fabulous dial, (rotor and bridge may have been replaced, not a big issue).

US market, serial number dates to ca 1970.

It's certainly a US model as Norm noted, and probably lacks the Seamaster hippocampus logo on the back because it might have been made as a presentation watch that never got an engraving. I think a few of the movement parts have been replaced, like the rotor, but overall it appears correct if not necessarily original.

I have seen a few heirloom watches posted on other forums that have all kinds of replacement parts on them so I wouldn't worry too much.
That dial is very nice and, as has been pointed out, looks original. It's probably a bit rare even. Enjoy it and the memories that it holds for your family

Thanks everyone for your respones, I was a little worried about the back not having the seamaster logo. I found a neat old watch repair place here in Tucson AZ ( A1 watch Co ) and I am having it worked on. I should have it back in a week. I want to start wearing it.
    Thanks again.
