This is my 3rd time owning this reference (2055.80), maybe this time it'll stick! The first two I sold in order to pursue other grails, and this one has actually arrived just as I'm preparing to buy another, so we'll see...but perhaps the 3rd time's the charm!

Thanks to David (exelonman) who actually sold me the previous one, too. :p

I'm servicing one of these right now. Congrats - love the dial as it really does pop.

    Cheers, Al

Thanks guys! I wish I could've gotten the one in Ti but the times that I've looked there hasn't been one available in good condition at a reasonable price. The last one I had also had the second hand replaced with the hand from a 42mm 2500 PO that matches the sword hands a lot better -- I might do the same mod to this one whenever it goes in for service.

It does work a lot better with the swords, the circle hand was a leftover from the skeleton hands which have a circle on the end of the hour hand

Should've just kept the last 2055.80 I had that was freshly serviced, already modded, and cost less than this one. But you live and you learn. :p

I have always felt that this watch would really be sharp with a bezel from an America's Cup.

I agree, but that would be a very expensive mod!

    Beautiful EB!

The first time a saw this dial live, i was completely mesmerized! Such flashy and in your face, at the same time so subtile.
    Great find!
