    Probably not as exciting as a new watch, but I’ve been on the hunt for the elusive Omega double ridged, curved end shark strap (part number 5493001 for those who care) since 2011, and in these 8 years I’ve found nothing besides old posts and photos, but not a single piece for sale.

    Well, my search is finally complete! Thanks to OF (as usual), my grail strap has found its way to my home. While it’s common knowledge that the Speedmaster Pro is the ultimate strap change watch, this is by far my favorite (non-bracelet) look...

    I have to say, I really feel like I should find this strap really ugly... but on the watch, it looks very good! Really surprised! Good job :thumbsup:

    I also spent a good amount of time searching for this strap, but I gave up and ended up getting a double ridge leather one from Hadley Roma. Needless to say, the Omega sharkskin strap you found looks significantly better.
