Probably not as exciting as a new watch, but I’ve been on the hunt for the elusive Omega double ridged, curved end shark strap (part number 5493001 for those who care) since 2011, and in these 8 years I’ve found nothing besides old posts and photos, but not a single piece for sale. Well, my search is finally complete! Thanks to OF (as usual), my grail strap has found its way to my home. I have to say, I really feel like I should find this strap really ugly... but on the watch, it looks very good! Really surprised! Good job
I also spent a good amount of time searching for this strap, but I gave up and ended up getting a double ridge leather one from Hadley Roma. Needless to say, the Omega sharkskin strap you found looks significantly better.
