Well what a month it's been. I've had my hands on a speedy pro, traded it for an AT Skyfall, and now have an Omega Speedmaster Professional 20th Anniversary edition incoming from George (aka Kringkily). I've never bought a vintage piece but coming from the seller it's coming from I have no worries. The speedy I had was from him(by way of the member I bought it from) and was immaculate. So now after selling many pieces and buying/flipping, the CFO told me one more will have to go to make room for the incoming speedy. Especially after the leather living room set we bought tonight! So it's either going to be my PO or my AT. Decisions decisions !!! Love them both and hard to decide. Haven't seen many Skyfall ATs in the wild and the market is saturated with the PO. The AT is the easier sale but... ugh. Where's that winning lottery ticket when you need one!

 

I feel your pain. I would keep the sky fall or any aqua t compared to the PO. For me it resembles a little Sport and vintage.

 

Great purchase. Be careful though, first you get the 20th, then the 30th looks real good, then the 40th since it's the "next one", after that you find yourself in the Omega Boutique going "Damn, that 45th would look great on my wrist". Enjoy.

Well the Speedy came in! Initial thoughts are I have a love hate relationship with the bracelet. I love how light it is... Almost feels like I'm not wearing it. I hate the feel of it... Doesn't feel like the solid bracelets I'm used to with the modern Omegas. Having said that this is my first step into vintage pieces and had to get used to the patina on it as well. I do have a leather nato (once I find it!) that I plan on putting it on. Now onto watch porn

 

Congrats on the Speedy. As for whether to part with the PO, or the AT, I say neither - trade out the CFO

 

Working on it It is quite the trio of awesomeness!

Patina is something you will come to love on a Speedmaster, it adds an extra layer of character which you dont have on a newer model

Well I fought the law and the law won. Looks like the PO is outbound. Which is fine with me because I can always sneak one back in later I can't sneak in the AT because although they aren't limited pieces they don't come up as often and I'm not keen on the new design.

Much better! I had to dig 3lbs of hair out of the bracelet and hated it. Now I love my speedy on the leather nato.
