Planet Ocean LiquidMetal Titanium 42mm. Its with my in-laws in the States while I'm here in the UK. So frustrating but worth the wait... The package just arrived and they sent me this: This was me trying it on in the shop: And with my SMPc (I must have a thing for shiny): My father-in-law used to be a Navy photographer so I'll have to ask him to get some nice shots of it to tide me over until we next meet up. Thanks to thesaint2009 (TheGoldenSwan) for the transaction.
Thanks. I was drawn to the titanium because it's quite a chunky watch, so keeping the weight down make a lot of difference to how it feels on the wrist. When I got the SMPc it was a tough choice between the black and the blue, so now I have a blue after all
One of (if not the) best combinations for a PO, very light and feels great on the wrist. No photo will catch the lovely dial and bezel in natural light, they are stunning. Well done.
Wow, that looks sharp. How does it feel on the wrist? Like you said the PO is a good bit heftier in dimensions over the Seamaster, but does the lighter weight help alleviate some of the girth?
Absolutely. The Ti makes all the difference for me, especially on my less than stout wrists. Still the same size of course but it doesn't feel as such because of the weight.
