Been looking for my first Omega for a while to celebrate a career milestone. Just paid for this today. Should arrive Saturday! I love the classic 2500 PO. The orange has always been such a cool flare to me.

Quite a coincidence! Sure hope you two guys didn鈥檛 buy the exact same watch from some online shyster.

Just kidding, don鈥檛 worry, that sort of thing never happens. You鈥檒l be happy - I love mine!

Nice! Is that a 42 or 45.5? Also, what kind of a strap is that? Looks great.

Thanks! It鈥檚 a 2010 Planet Ocean 2500C, 42mm, on an UNCLE Straps GL831.
This strap completely transformed my PO into a light, balanced, incredibly comfortable, everyday watch. It鈥檚 the only strap this watch has ridden on for the past three years. Perfection realized! The stock bracelet is quite heavy.

Love it!! I want a rubber strap for sure.

This is perfect. Your watch looks amazing and that strap is awesome as well. Thank you.

Congrats!

Easy ID in pictures is the bezel edges. The "grip" is squared on the 42 and scalloped (semi-circles) on the 45.5. I have the bigger one, all black, and agree the rubber strap is the way to go. I have only ever worn mine on the Omega rubber other than trying a few NATO straps after I first got it. I never cared for the look of the PO bracelet personally.

I'm thinking of letting mine go to get the 42mm instead, as I seem to prefer the slightly smaller diameter these days. I do still wear it and the legibility is spectacular with the large applied indicies and tons of luminous material under the double-AR crystal. I have plenty of watches, some iconic and desirable but the PO is the only one I ever get compliments on.

Very nice! I love these but wish they made one in 40mm. Even 42mm is too big for me these days.
