So this finally landed and happy to get it on my wrist. As quick background, this is the Laco collaboration with Topper Jewlers in Burlingame CA. Pasting the Worn and Wound review below for additional detail, but basically it's a 42.5mm flieger with white dial and heat-blued indices and hands. Movement is the ETA based Laco 98 hand wound movement. First impressions are that I am extremely pleased with the watch. It very comfortable on wrist, and the blue really pops when it finds the right lighting angle. I generally like my watches in the 39 to 41 range, with 42 usually being the max...so was worried about the fit on my 7" wrist. Overall I dont think it's a problem and feel like it wears well. Will post more as I break it in over the next few days, but so far loving this piece! https://wornandwound.com/first-look-at-the-laco-flieger-limited-topper-edition/
Great-looking watch from a top company. I've looked at these a few times, since I'd like a white-dialled watch with some heft and character. Like you I was a bit worried about the lug length and gap and the hand-winding caliber. Glad to see that you're enjoying it and thanks for the great pix!
The first thought that comes into my head every time I see this watch is that they look the hands and markers out of the oven about 2 minutes early. IMO, a good heat treat blue should be closer to blue-black.
