On route via Express Post now, my first German watch.

So, it was toss-up between this and the De Ville Hour Vision Orbis. Ultimately, I ended up a little obsessed with Glashutte Original and their PanoMaticLunar. The movement and finishing is of course very impressive, but it was the design of the dial and proportions of the elements it contains that really sold me.

A good PML example popped up for sale (case No. 00006) at a fair price, so I saw no reason to hesitate :)

If you haven't already watched the youtube video tour featuring the manufacturing processes of Glashutte Original, it's definitely worth a look:

Great choice. I personally prefer the PML to the De Villa. Very nice and congrats.

Congrats - you made the right choice. This watch is a step (or two) above the Omega certainly.

    Cheers, Al

It's not being delivered by a Ninja of Disappointment, is it?

He's sitting by the door with a bucket in case the delivery guy drops by when nature calls.

Luckily our current guy is really good. He's even scaled up and over the balcony to hide a package in front of the side patio door. That's dedication :)

According to my psychic predictions it should be on the local truck and out for delivery today. Yes, I see it clearly, in fact it is ticking
