Hiho! Incoming! My new Deville GMT, with cal 2628 based on the 2500 coaxial. Ref 4533.31.00. May have to put the bracelet back in the box and throw it on some leather. We shall see. I also managed to swipe 4 dials for this puppy from watchadoo on ebay. A good day!
The bracelet is definitely interesting! This one might be at risk of being transferred (read:stolen) to my wife's jewelry box.
Should be easier to read with the black dial on lower right, that'll also give you chance to mate with gator or other skin strap, nice pick up!
I'll try it with the black - one of the reasons I picked up the extra dials... but it is quite readable on the white as well.
I only see this watch on that bracelet, if you want to sully perfection with leather go and buy another deville.
There are variants that come from the factory with leather. Same watch and bracelet also available in gold too. ..but I agree, this one is sweet!
That bracelet would drive me nuts. I know it's probably awful to say but I hate it. I like simplicity. Even the SMP pro 300 bracelet is a bit much for me. the SPM Pro is OK and the PO is great. Like I said, I like simplicity.
Lol, I like Natos, although they're not always right for every watch. I keep switching between the Nato, stainless steel and leather and croc straps all the time. The AT looks amazing on steel, and I will eventually find a steel bracelet I like for the smp 300. I like the bracelet of the speedy a lot but I can't seem to fit it into the SMP. And I think the speedy does look great on Nato and velcro. U did spend 700 on the stainless bracelet for the PO, and I switch between that and a thick distressed leather I originally got for a Panerai.... I guess i get bored.
