The hammer was 100k HKD, with buy’s premium I Believe the final price became 125k HKD. Missed that by a hair, congrats to Manuu once again.

Exactly at phillips website the sale price is 125000 HK$.

Never bought at auction, but if someone here did, please let me know if the auctioneer take care of import duties and shipping.

I understand the buyer has to pay the costs, but do they take care of paperwork?
Thanks

They will charge you additional fee for shipping (which probably will use a company called Ferrari or maybe fedex Or UPS). And the import tax etc. Will be charged to you by the courier as for the usual.

Congrats on the watch.
Very beautiful.
Is the price on Philips online watch auction results with or without buyer's premium?
Are you based in HK or will the auctioneer take care of import duties and transportation?
Thanks

You will have to register to bid that means share a lot of information with them. Every place has different buyer premium and given I am not in HK they do the transportation but it’s always good to confirm before you bid.

You will have to pay the import duties and other taxes because carriers send the value of the purchase/import to the government. It’s always good to read the term and conditions because I am not the most active person.

you can always buy from me when I sell. Should I ask you before I sell? You will be the first which is surprising given I had more dibs on the Bulova which is homage to this.

Nice pickup. Congrats!

I was also interested in this one.

From what I could tell this is the exact piece featured in Sala's UG book.

Amazing! congrats.

Does anyone know why they mixed tritium numerals with radium hands? was this the transitional period?

Am I the only one who thinks the catalog dial pic is a bit misleading? I think that the watch is great, but just always wonder about these things with pix. Comments?

Do you mean pics I posted or pics Phillips posted?

I don’t think the hands are radium.

I just checked and added some pics from the book.
Makes the purchase all the more sweeter I'm sure!

Another thing I spotted was the bezel on this piece has slightly different font and line breakers to that seen on most other UG Cairelli.

It’s been a while since I posted an Incoming thread but few days ago I found this and now waiting for shipping. If it was not the weekend in US, I would had it tomorrow but now have to wait until next week.

The part that is interesting is that I was looking for another brand for 2 years and all information I could find based on military watches, UG is rarer.

Thought I will ask all UG lovers to guess before I post the pics.

any pictures yet?

was the condition of the dial disclosed?

It's "Phillips". I have zero expectation from them. I was surprised that it got listed for auction anywhere.

That is blatant fraud imo.

but have we discussed the bezel?
