Incabloc setting removal from balance bridge

Hi All,
I am in the process of taking a shot at making new bridges for a Unitas 6498. I am next trying to remove the incabloc setting from the balance bridge. I am wondering if this is pressed out, and if so from which side. Under magnification the angles on the edges of the shock system look captured such that it is not clear that this is possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Pictures of bridge attached.
Thanks!
Jeffrey

Looks pressed fit.

The nicer ones have a U shaped spring what holds them in.

This can be seen on the back of my Avatar, which is sort of a sample toy which can be taken apart and show how the parts work together.

Thanks Sheepdoll, but the bottom of the setting looks flared such that it appears to be lipped over angled portion of hole on bottom of bridge. Don't want to force things. Am I seeing this correctly?

Press fitted. Just curious what you are removing it for?

HMM. Perhaps to remove the incabloc, I can pry off the stud holder/adjuster at the split on the adjuster and then press out the incabloc from top to bottom with horia tool or jewel press. Is this the way it is done? Any help appreciated!
THanks,
Jeffrey

Thanks Archer, Not sure how to remove it. see previous post. I am building new bridges, including balance bridge to gain some proficiency in micromechanics.

I want to re use the incabloc in the new bridge. Will the old bridge be ruined if I press it out back to front, but the incabloc will survive to press into the new bridge?

You press the Incabloc out from the underside. So in your staking set or whatever you plan to use here, you need a hollow stump on the bottom that is just slightly larger that the outside diameter of the top of the Incabloc setting. The balance cock is laid top down on the lower stump, and you use a punch to press it out.

The regulator and stud carrier will come free as they are held in place by the Incabloc setting. Installation is the reverse.

Thanks Archer! Just So I am clear, In order to stake this out, the top of the bridge will rest on the lower stump that has a diameter a bit larger than the inner diameter of the stud carrier ring, retaining it so the incabloc can push through it?

Success! Thanks Al and Omega forum again. Had to turn a stump. Worked like a charm.
