    Hello,

Does anyone know what the importcode: OXM means on this watch movement?
I can't find any info on the Mikrolisk site. (http://mikrolisk.de/show.php)

The three letter code is the US import code denoting the US importer or US subsidiary of a foreign manufacturer. I believe that OXM is the import code for "O. Maire Watch Co" or "Manufacture d’Horlogerie Otto Maire SA" of Longeau, Switzerland. An (incomplete) list of US import codes can be found here: http://www.ranfft.de/uhr/info-uscode-e.html

Can we please see the front of this watch?

Well if you read it as WXO (upside down) it would be Waltham Watch Co.

I have no link to OXM as such, but looking at the engraving on the bridge I would guess it was for the O. Maire Watch Company of 54 Maiden Lane New York City, possibly the US branch of Otto Maire S.A.

Yes, I've looked there too, but OXM isn't in the list.
I know the company is called Otto Maire Inc. from Langnau, Switserland.
