It's common for new users here to have difficulty attaching images due the two-step process: first upload, then insert. Suggestion: if, when making a post, the user has images they have uploaded which they have not yet inserted, when they click [Create Thread] or [Reply], warn them "You have added photos which have not been inserted, they will be discarded if you post anyway.", with three buttons "Cancel" - which returns to editing; "Post Anyway" - which posts and discards un-inserted photos; and "Insert All and Post" - which would insert all un-inserted images at the end of the post and then proceed to post. Refinements / alternate suggestions: 1. Don't offer "Insert All and Post" - easier to implement 2. Don't allow people to discard un-inserted photos at post time: if you uploaded a photo which you don't want to put in the post, you would have to explicitly delete it. - further reduces error likelihood 3. Both 1 & 2: if attempting to post with un-inserted images, you just get an error saying "You have uploaded photos which you have not inserted into your post: either insert each of them or delete them before posting". FWIW.
No problem for me to either use the add photo button on its own or inserting the photo in a 2-step process; Speedy > add button Carrera > add and insert
Admittedly I didn't try it, I'm reacting to threads like https://omegaforums.net/threads/the-right-place-at-right-time.127400/
