i'm a speedmaster kind of guy but with recent re-lease my interest in vintage Seamaster 300. I've found these on ebay. Any input will be much appreciated.

Just my opinion but with the first one, the dial, hands and bezel insert look too good for the condition of the case and the bezel inner ring. The second one just looks like a fake.

As I said, those are just my opinions and I'm sure other, more learned members will be along soon.

 

at the price that's been offered, I was suspicious but I haven't extensively handled and researched Seamaster 300s, so i was unsure. Thank you for your input.

The first one that you showed above has a very ugly redial, probably a fake dial actually as there are no `wells` for the luminous hour indices. Also the wrong crown, the 552, which although the correct calibre is very worn looking also a poorly redone bezel and there is something about the hands I don´t like, especially the seconds hand which is too short. The case/case back looks OK.

This one just looks 100% fake to me and should be avoided at all cost. Wrong 471 movement, dial, hands case back, bezel insert......

 

Here is mine to compare with, my bezel insert was done by Aldo in Italy.



I think the 14755 is a real bargain, it is almost identical to a 2913 but without the price premium that the 2913 commands and a good one is as nice on the wrist
