I am getting ready to purchase an omega ladies watch from a friend . It says 14 gold on the back and 1971. if it is gold it would have to be white gold . The band looks beat up but the watch itself looks nice . I'm only giving him 30 dollars because it was his uncle's wife's who left him and returned the watch after twenty yrs of marriage. is is inscribed on the back thank you for your twenty years. I know nothing of omega but am thinking of either getting rid of it or giving it to my fiance, but somehow w/o the ingravimg. is that old of a omega even worth messing with or would you recommend me to just scrap it ? I don't really want the watch but he won't except the money unless I except it. I trust your opinions. I just don't want to throw something in the trash that a watch person might want . I'm not trying to sell it here . I just don't know what to do. to be honest . if you say trash it, that is where it is going after he leaves
