Into his 2998 are but coloured the lume to look vintage. I think he dyed the hour markers, made a great job of it. Can anyone help?
I don't mean to speak for BM, but he actually baked it. It's a modern service dial in the oven on grill for a few minutes..
I think it goes in the oven on broil for about 10 mins, but watch it closely. I've never tried it myself..

the USA made cars in the 1930's with "baked on enamel pain". a long forgotten process, THAT worked very well ! there is an available process IF you can get enamel. [ in the 30's, you could buy a ford with a stainless body] - vinn
