I'm almost finished restoring my speedmaster 125 and the only thing that I need and can't find is the o ring that holds the watch head to the case, the o ring fits right above the crown and pushers ( see photos). I called Ofrei and they say there is no such part and several other people. I need to know the name of the part or if any of you guys has that part I'll buy it from you or you could just pointy me in the right direction. I just bought the new old stock bracelet, the crystal and sleeve and I need the o ring so I can use the watch. Your help is much appreciated.

I would think that it's made of hard plastic.

I saw a post once where someone did just as you with this watch. Have you searched for examples of the same project?

This is the first time that I post here and I wouldn't know where to look, a friend told me that this would be the best way to find it.

Do you have an account with Borel? You can look up the part number in their database. Assuming that Ofrei is wrong.

You might also check on cousins uk for the parts diagram for this watch.

    Relichunter,
Send me a PM. I just looked through my database, and I have a tech guide for that caliber. Didn't see any reference to a gasket there, but I just skimmed it.

As I answered you on WUS....

You just need an o-ring of the correct size.

    Cheers, Al
