Most likely collectible from sofas like these are bed bugs...

Gee, the only thing I find in old sofas are dried-up buggers?

I'm not British, but I believe you are referring to very old men that sodomize you. You may find them in a sofa...I guess.

Please explain, preferentially with a picture, how you can find an old bugger IN a sofa (or how one (being an old bugger) fits in it to begin with)? Thanks :)

Hmmm... buy an expensive watch without wife's approval, but how to get it in the house without her asking where it came from and how much it cost? I know... buy a $25 thrift store sofa, hide watch under the cushions, a week later... "hey, look what I found?!?!?!!!"

(might even be worth the exterminator bill to get rid of the bugs... and occasional "bugger"...)?

I was actually making a little joke about the likelihood that you meant "boogers," not "buggers," but then you went and got all sensitive about and launched the first salvo, when my post was not intended at you, personally, but the collective "you." I do appreciate the free psychoanalysis, though.

This was your first response to my post, this is what you call being insensitive to? You probably need some psychoanalysis if you think this is a proper response to a statement. I'm sure everyone here already has your number, Bob.

Is anyone else here going to sell their watch to fund a boob job?

...I guess we are quite a few who need a long conversation with a psychoanalyst then; I know I found it funny! :D

Lighten up, @03Hemi, no-one is after the "new guy" here :)

I believe he was giving you a literal British translation of what you said, in all likelihood without meaning to.

A bugger is someone who performs said act. Apparently in the couch :)

Welcome to the OF. Maybe you are used to other fora where folks jump down each other’s throats for nothing, but here we are a civilized helpful lot, even with respect to language.

My ignorance then, apologies to M'Bob. That is certainly a new one on me, too funny. I was referring to just old dead bugs. lol, M'Bob please except my apology.

I'm gonna change my screen name to "buggers" now, lol
Definitely a language barrier I'll have to get used to, never been a member of a forum with so many Europeans. You people are so slick!

Y'all need to watch out for them Aussies too. Slick buggers the lot of 'em.

Edit: while in New Zealand I saw a series of TV adverts for a Toyota truck in just one word was spoken -- "Bugger!" Anyone got a rUdetoob link?
