I'm dumbfounded. How in the hell does Seiko pull it off?

Will say, I was worried about lack of hacking when picking up my SKX013, but the slightest pressure on the crown stops the seconds hand and makes setting simple. And (although I’ve heard it’s hit and miss) she’s been running close to COSC from day one, all for $200 delivered!
