Yes. It was a bit empty. Only 30 people allowed. Yes. We needed to fill in a list with questions about our health situation. And yes. We thought about all those people who are hitten by this disaster. But the food and drinks were great. Nice to see a restaurant again from the inside. We've supported local restaurants during the first period when they were forced to close. But supporting them by having dinner is better. And yes. The picture of the watch is terrible.

Nice to see some normality, I think we are still a way off in the UK!

Yesterday we managed to get a table inside one of our fav Italian restaurants that have the best pizza in town, after a fantastic dinner we conveniently found another table a few doors across the street to enjoy street performers and drinks 😀

terrible pic of the parma & rucola pizza but trust me, it was definitely fantastic 😉

I have become an even better chef since this lock down started. No, we have not yet ventured out. Right now we are having small socially distancing get togethers on our patios. We all miss going out!

Its certainly a very weird time Larry. We aren't out here in the UK and won't be for a while.

I’m so tired of cooking and doing dishes. I’m in Portland, Oregon, and our county is the last in the state to reopen. I’ve been buying gift certificates at my favorite restaurants to help them out during their closures, and now I don’t know if I should use them right away or spend the cash they still need. Either way, I’m not cooking for a week when the time comes.

I’m in the US, northeast to put it closer. They finally opened Hair cutters on the 1st of this month by appointment only. I showed up on time but had to wait a solid half hour out front as they can only have two customers in the place. So I waited and noticed next door to the hair cutters is a liquor store which had a constant traffic both masked and unmasked. It’s funny to watch this play out.

We’ve been doing pretty much the same here in Seattle. Restaurants got the ok for limited seating. Doing curb side service at our favorite places and tipping on the high side. Saying lots of “Thank you for working!” We have a few gift cards, but are holding off their use. Not like they won’t get used later.

We are chomping at the bit- we ate out at least twice a week pre 3/14. We enjoy cooking but miss variety and atmosphere of city dining- not to mention the ease of a long day and “let’s go out and grab dinner”. The county is slowly opening up but the city is still on lockdown.

Have been out the last three weekends. Couple of the places we frequented were dead the first two weekends. Almost the entire staff was new. The comment from the lone holdover was the former staff was too scared to come back or was making more $$ sitting at home on unemployment. This weekend the at other place we like, the place was packed (all the table inside and outside according to the distancing rules). Wait staff was about 1/2 and 1/2 new and old. Most of the staff we were aquatinted with not present though.

Yeah, we’re holding our breathe about some of the places we loved that were very small not being able to make it...particularly the ones that opened within the last year- I’m sure they were barely making it and not all landlords were forgiving during the 3-month closure.
