    Hi,

My wife was passed this watch and we’re having a hard time identifying which omega it is, what it’s worth it even if it’s genuine. Any help would be appreciated. Yep. Sorry to say it's not a genuine Omega, it has the crown from another brand and Omega did not mark the exterior of their case backs with hallmarks in that way. That is usually the easiest way to identify a fake.

And while it has a nice "hallmark", it's usually just gold plate over base metal.

If you get a pen knife and pop the back off I'd be amazed if it had an Omega movement.

    I think is is genuine.

Don't recall ever seeing a fake with a 14K marking, it's also missing the Omega marking usually found on fakes. I think it's a custom made case and bracelet in solid 14K.

If this man thinks it's genuine then you can safely bet on it.

The only way to tell 1000% for sure is to check the watch movement.

Whoever made it, I doubt it would be worth significantly more than scrap metal value. The bracelet is interesting though with those interlocking hoops.

The real value would only come from the bracelet being 14k as well. At trust point the scrap might make up for it all
