Looks like a nice gilt dial with a bumper movement. And obviously it is a Seamaster! Pics of the inside of the case back and the movement would help.
You are right. I looked at that dial on my cell phone and obviously did not see these details well enough. But it is weird: the scripts do not look bad and the black paint seems to have nice patina - that is what made me say it looks good. And it looks like a gilt dial - which are almost impossible to redone. But I may be wrong: I cannot get a high resolution of the pic and can only see the little one in the OP's post. By the way, I cannot see the T Swiss made - the pic I can have is too blury. But it is clearly a red flag as there is no lume...
I think easier to see now, it looks like a T to me and the indices on the minute track are all over the place
Definitely has the Swiss made along the bottom. So definitely redialed? Just surprised because so detailed and small font
I am surprised too: the fonts are good and this yellow "gilt dial" like si really hard to immitate. The minute track looks good as well. But it is way of centered. Sometimes, indexes can move slightly, and anymay a small difference with the "chemin de fer" print is possible in old dials. But it looks too bad here. And if there is a "T" before "Swiss made" - I still cannot see it clearly - it is a red flag as there is no lume on the dial and the hands. If it happens to be a redial - and apparently it is - I would be interested to know its history. Who did it, how did he manage to produce this finish in the scripts and the minute track? But we will probably never know!
