Identify this Omega. What year? Is a Seamaster automatic.

    Need to identify this Seamaster automatic. From what year? Need to find and buy one after had this one in the washing machine :(
    I think it may be from 1962, but Im not sure.
    Greatful for help.

    It will help to provide a picture; Just the watch, not the washer.

    Hmm, it might be possible to unscrew the back, back it seems hard. Need a super grip with your fingers. But I will try. Thanks for info Ericoh.

    Dial and case still look decent. It might be possible to find a replacement movement instead of a whole watch.

    You may be able to open the back using a shiny rubber ball like this, found where toys are sold.

    I've found the right kind of rubber ball at Dollar Tree stores with cartoon pictures of fruit on them:
