I have had this watch in my family for a while. Does anyone know the specific model and how much is worth it?
The whole watch is 18k yellow gold.

Its probably worth its weight in gold plus a few extra bucks if it keeps time. In order to weight it you must disassemble the entire case.

Bucherer is one of those brands that collectors dont value as a name. Dont get me wrong, there are many interesting Bucherers, specially in the chronograph sector, but they mostly ordered their watches from other manufacturers so thay are just a brand name.

 

Quite right, probably low collector value. Given the nature of your question, you will get the value of its gold content from a pawnbroker.

Some Bucherers have wicked designs and yours is an elegant example.

 

Still, it's a very nice looking watch and in good condition. I'd like to see the movement, it might be worth keeping.

 

Bucherer watches from the 50 and 60s were often made by watch brands they were carrying. Often quality AS Schild movements.
