·A few weeks ago, I picked up 1916 silver Trench watch from a flea market. It was a non-runner, all the silver was black, the original celluloid glass had turned a deep orange ... but it was cheap and quality.
Now it's running and ready to be reassembled. I've been trying to identify the maker and I'm failing miserably. Even Ranftt seems unable to give a positive result so, I turn to the world's best experts ... yooz guys!
The dial is sterile but the movement well marked:
Does anyone recognise the maker's mark or calibre?
