Identification help- or is it fake?

This is from my father's estate. What I think I know about it is that it was bought around 1970. However, my own investigation may have uncovered it as a copy (fake). I could not find another version with the days of the week on the 9 o-clock location. Is this one a known variation or a nice copy? Still my dad's but I would like to know if it is real or not. Guessing fake, but if real- perceived value would also be interesting.

That’s a wannabe, that one! The Omega Speedmaster that it is trying futilely to resemble is a three register chronograph (it records elapsed seconds on the centre sweep seconds hand, elapsed minutes on the subsidiary dial by the 9:00, elapsed hours on the subsidiary dial at the 6:00, and the “running” seconds hand on the subsidiary dial at the 3:00.) Three of the hands (the three chronograph hands) are controlled by the buttons either side of the winding crown.

On yours, the sub dial at the 9:00 gives the DAY, the sub dial at the 6:00 reads 24-hour time, and the sub dial at the 3:00 gives the date. Appearances can be deceiving, unless you know what to look for. This is NOT an Omega watch, as much as it resembles one………faintly!

Thanks for the help. Exactly what I thought, but knew you guys could confirm. It is funny that I didn't notice the misspelling.
