So I'm not too far off the point where I have most of the vintage Omegas I want (and can also afford without selling a kidney or one of the children). I've been thinking about starting a collection of non-Omega vintage watches associated with interesting adventures in space or Earth...So far I have the following list 1 Sturmanski - Yuri Gagarin 2 Strela chrono - first spacewalk, Alexi Leonov 3 Breitling Cosmonaute - Scott Carpenter, Mercury 7 4 Seiko Pepsi Pogue - William Pogue, Skylab 5 Eterna - Thor Heyerdah's Kontiki raft voyage 6 Enicar - worn on Everest expeditions 7 Rolex Oyster - Chuck Yeager, X1 Flight 8 Zenith Pilot - Louis Bleriot, flight across Channel (or as close to, this might be an impossible task given it was in 1909...) I'd welcome any thoughts on any others I should consider? And for 5, 6, 7, any ideas on what was the specific model? In particular any divers, or ones associated with flight? Thanks!
