This bracelet was attached to a Geneve that I shouldn't have bought, but I really wanted the bracelet. It wasn't until I got home that I saw the blades had been replaced and one of the rivets that holds the end piece on is missing so in the end it wasn't worth what I paid for it. I've decided to list the watch and bracelet on that auction site but I don't know the bracelet number so I'm hoping to ID the bracelet for my description. --Paul
I thought it was genuine because I've seen this bracelet on two other Omega watches; a Seamaster model 14730 and Seamaster De Ville model 166.020 She done me wrong!
There must be someone in Canada going around putting Omega clasps on these identical bracelets then. Including this one all three had Omega clasps and the exact same style bracelet.
I've seen a few tissots with these; http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rotary-Rall...286742?hash=item3f7cc5f116:g:LzgAAOSwvihY9bavPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Tis...013010?hash=item1c8c01ced2:g:WyQAAOSwcUBYJL6uPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network And, so long as there are people buying them, there will always someone making "Omega" bracelets, a few years back i remember someone selling a box of 200 Omega bracelet clasps. This seller is from Thailand, there is another from India selling these... http://www.ebay.com/itm/BEADS-OF-RI...779647?hash=item21298938ff:g:rKQAAOSwYIxX9cFSPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Thanks for those links Bumper, clearly someone did some work on this bracelet. I wonder if it was done originally when the watch was bought or later. I'd like to see the bracelet that Omega clasp came from. Those BOR bracelets are pretty convincing. At least the seller is honest and states they're after market.
