Hi all, First of all, thanks for the insight this forum has given me. It has been a great resource for me in the hunt for my first vintage Omega watch. I am considering buying the watch as seen on the photos - a 1966 Omega Seamaster DeVille, but as this is my first potential purchase i know little to nothing about what to look for in terms of originality etc. The seller has the following info on the peace: - Year: 1966 - 14kt gold case - Height: 10mm - Diametre: 33,5 (excluding the crown) - Cal.: 601 manual Could any of you tell me if there is anything on this watch that seems odd, unoriginal etc.? Does the dial, arms and crown look to have been replaced? And how about the back. Is it supposed to be "gold" and have a "brushed" finish? I really hope that some of you could shed light upon this as i do not wish to buy myself a "Frankenwatch"
