Saw the old man play "Thick as a Brick 1 and 2" Sunday evening.
The voice is shot but his musicianship is better than I have ever heard and I've been to a dozen of his concerts over the last 40 years.
He has made me feel young again and brought back a lot of great memories.
I fired up the Garrard Zero-100 and spun some vinyl for the first time in about 10 years!
Where the hell was Biggles, when you needed him last Saturday? And where were all the sportsmen, who always pulled you through?

I won't carry on about Tull, but they did, single handedly, get me through the disco years.

My hat is off to Ian, enough said.

I am very envious Uncle Buck. Ian was also one of my favorites when I was not stuck in a garage in Canoga Park :D

Polarized the pumpkin eaters...static humming ...panel beaters.

You Brits have to explain that one to me, I've wondered for 40 years!

One of my fav's..... "and he threw away his looking glass....saw his face in every one".
