·Hi All,
I retired earlier this year and decided that the Titanium World Timer would be my last Omega for a while. Then they launched the FOIS and I fell in love. Fine I thought, it's a one off and there will be nothing else for a while. So I bought it.
Then yesterday I got an email that my OB in London had received an Apollo 11 50th Anniversary from HQ (their words not mine). The watch was brand new and fully boxed etc, they asked the simple question would I like it?
This was a watch I really wanted but missed out on when it launched so of course I said yes. My wife agreed (after the fact, but that's a technicality 😉). Anyway, it arrived today. Great service from the OB in the Royal Exchange, London. They have helped me build my collection for a number of years now.
One very happy owner with no spare slots in the display left 😜
