http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-OME...624205?hash=item3d3afc63cd:g:~bsAAOSw-3FZFnLaPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network lotta schmutz on the case, less corrosion almost none compared to the last one I tried to pick up. I suppose it can be cleaned off. Replacement crystal most likely, case looks decent not much polishing. Hands and dial look good. for some reason the crown doesnt seem right... or am I wrong? replacement? thanks for any input
I think the crown is correct. Here's a very similar watch that apparently didn't sell at a much lower price: http://global.rakuten.com/en/store/rstime/item/27713/ I'd recommend making a lower, but still reasonable offer. Worst they can do is say no. gatorcpa
Ask for a full image with the back off. I can see some corrosion and usually when they post images with the ends unseen. It's usually a problem DON
Not judging the watch but Japanese are not as receptive to haggling as us. I'd make 1 offer at max price you would consider, mentioning all concerns in an apologetic manner. I'm not being negative, just trying to bridge the cultures.
i hope they bite, still recovering from the seamaster 120M i bought last week, so itll be a $625-$650 offer.
they are certainly unique folks. I remember from my travels there that they are a very polite sort of people even when they kicked us off the subways to prepare for track repairs and examines. they also chased after us offended because we left a tip on the table.
so far no response to the question I sent asking for more pictures, hopefully something comes up. no rush, gotta be patient
This is mine for sale at the moment but no date. https://omegaforums.net/threads/omega-seamaster-14390-62sc.57565/ Cheers
back to the drawing boards, not making another gamble. looks like seller is reluctant to provide additional pictures for me to examine
