That's a very nice Soyuz and while it is rarer (50 only), but I stand that the 1st gen moonwatch is more desirable (around 1040).

Soyuz? Are you sure? That is a '69 watch and the Soyuz mission was in '75. Different dial too, I think.

 

The all gold version I believe they made like 1001? or something. The Soyuz in 1975 I think it was like 500 if I am not mistaken

 

Speaking of Solid Gold Speedmasters: I got really close (I know it only counts in horse-shoes and hand-grenades) to an Apollo XI 25th. Anniversary Edition of 500, #5 form the son of the original owner. My internet skills are so poor that I can no longer find the Chuck Maddox review of this exact watch as submitted by the owner. If one of you more gifted members could find his review, complete with scans, I'm sure you will enjoy it. Good Hunting! Worst of all, the owner had solid references and the price was very reasonable.
