Not mine but if anybody’s interested these are for sale in Dubai. You have to buy both the Apollo 17 45th anniversary and the TinTin but he says both are full sets. I believe he’s asking $14,429 for both.

I like the TinTin but I remember seeing them in Costco for $3250 a few years ago and my wallet will not allow for that kind of inflation

Would love a Tintin but having to buy both sounds a bit like negotiating for a Sub from a Rolex AD.

I am going to use the bit about ignoring whomever does not respect me in my next ad.

LOL, "I will ignore any person not respecting me."

A good mantra to live by :)

I dont know about the Apollo 17, but the Tintin alone is worth 8,500-9,000 USD - maybe a little more in mint condition.

Not based on the prices lately on OF. In that range it needs to be BNIB. Some good ones have struggled to sell for $6,500 USD

Well some people are asking that much and some swear it’s a 20k and they completely ignore actual sold prices.

It's always a matter of demand and supply. With less than 20 pieces for sale worldwide, it looks like a sellers' market.
Prices start at USD 7,500 which I find reasonable, and go up to USD 16k [in someone's dream :)]

I sold it in December just because I needed some extra cash to invest in something else, however I managed to secure another one so hopefully this time will stay with me :).

Good grief - I remember seeing the TinTin on Jomashop for $2900. I thought about getting one at the time instead of my -76 but decided not to. That is definitely looking like a bad idea now. Could have sold it, and bought two other Speedies. ::censored::

These things were available for YEARS with little interest - what made them suddenly skyrocket?
