Why do I keep going back to the for sale thread on TRF?

Something about it just calls to me.

If you want a more accessible option @cicindela and @Trev have both had the GO PanoMaticLunar which is quite similar in a lot of ways, still extremely high quality and a fraction of the price.

That GO does looks nice. $14,500 for the new GO in rose gold or $21k for a used ALS. Hmmm... I like the ALS better, but not sure $7k better.

I think Trev's in steel was only about 7k used or something, not sure what the GO used is but it'd be a fair bit cheaper.

I like yours the best of those options. I am leaning towards a white face/rose gold watch. The Richard Lange is the one I picked when I visited the Manhattan ALS boutique. Next time I am there, I will have to stop by and see the Lange 1 moon phase in the metal.

I think I could give up the 4 in red for the ALS.

The L1MP is a really nice watch, and sits well on the wrist. The GO PML, though marginally larger, is thicker and thus feels a bit bulkier on the wrist. (I've tried both, courtesy of friends). The L1MP however is a very dressy watch, a bit less versatile than the GO which can still go with a smart casual look.

That's why I haven't pulled the trigger already. I'm a serial dress watch flipper. I see one, love it, buy it and then it just sits in the box after a few weeks because I am a fighter pilot at heart. The Reverso is just Screen Shot 2017-07-30 at 9.55.56 PM.png cool and different and serves as my current dress watch. But I'm not in love with it.

If you don t mind me asking, what type of program/app/ website are you using for organizing your collection.
    Really nice pic.

I am with @cicindela. The ALS is a beautiful watch but when I encountered the GO PML, my craving was more than satisfied:

That's a pretty good example of the GO PML's versatility - it can go with a bracelet and look more casual, whereas there's no way you could do that with a L1.

As a pure dress watch though, the L1 MP is amazing. But @corn18 , seeing that you've previously sold the equally dressy JLC QP, you'd probably get less mileage out of the Lange then.
