I present my new Omega, a Planet Ocean 2201.50.00, the watch and the reference that was used in James Bond's Quantum of Solace.

I was lucky to buy it from a good friend, who almost did not use it since 2009 when he bought it.
to me limited editions of James Bond I like and I have some, but apart from the Specter LE, none came out on the big screen, so I like this Planet Ocean, why this reference if it came out in the film. I love the clock.

It’s a classic, the one I wear the most. Durable, robust, and is not yet another sub.

this was my wedding watch, it has a special place with me, and I just love the matte dial.

great choice, and enjoy it for years to come.

2500 42mm PO’s are future classics esp with that dial and bezel. These are some under rated watches. Clear heritage styling but not faking vintage.

    Get it serviced!

One of my big regrets was not buying one new back in the day. I had just bought the Bond SMP in 2011 and couldn’t afford another large purchase at the time. By the time I could afford to buy another one, the watch changed to the 8500 and was way too thick.

given the lack of use you should consider getting it serviced.

    great watch though.
