Hello, I'm Sebastien from France, I would need some help for this Speed. The hands make me think to a 66-67' one but I suspect the dial not to be the good one... The bezel is very cracked but it's a DON! Thanks in advance!
Dial is a step dial, so around 1969-74 Bracelet is 1116, so around 67-71 Hands are indeed the early hands, they were used from 64-69. Bezel is a DON indeed, so overall I think this could be a fully correct 145022-69, though the hands are seldom used on 145022-69 so I may be wrong, or maybe the dial has been changed and it could be a 145012 or 145022-68. My thoughts!
Thanks! I do not have the watch with me, I'm in touch with the seller. Which could be a correct price for this speed according to you ?
Impossible to say, and silly to estimate without more information and better photos. Case number? Movement calibre? Movement number?
Yes I know that, sorry but as I said I have not this watch in my hands and I'm waiting these info from the seller.
That looks like a really beat up example. I'd hope the interiors are in better condition than the rest of the watch.
The seller told me that it was his grandfather's watch, it was in a drawer and he send it to Omega. Now he waits its return from Omega but said not to do anything on the watch. He could sell it for around €2000... I wait some informations to make an offer.
i'm guessing it is a 145.022 - 69 with wrong chrono hands with 1116/575 bracelet. If that is that, I'd grab it for €2000. Let us know how it turns out.
If I were you, I would snap it quick up for that price! You know what the Don's are worth these days, I'd be all over it, you can't get hurt at that price.
Well...It looks to be that one..No?if so seller claims he wants 4k eur ... https://www.leboncoin.fr/montres_bijoux/1111657909.htm?ca=1_s Good luck with your deal..
Dial is from '69 on. With a DON, probably a 145.022-69. Strange that it has the spear tip sweep second hand. Maybe a Frankenmaster. Still, with a nicely aged set of c321 hands and a DON I'd grab it for 2000 euros. You can get that much out of it in parts.
